Ecovadis has tested our business model and operational procedures to rate our global performance publishing the relevant result in a SILVER SCORE-CARD, which reveals an excellent positioning for our company in all the above mentioned fields.

Owing to an optimal placement, orientation, and weather conditions, our photovoltaic equipment is able to convert into actual electricity a high percentage of our annual energy requirement.

In 2022, we will further improve the achieved performances through the installation of a battery equipment, which will be able to store the excess energy, we are now bound to sell, and reuse it when the solar energy income is lower than the need.
Moreover, we can certify that the energy we purchase comes from renewable sources. Our provider, EICOM Energia, issues the international GO certification, which guarantees that their energy is produced by plants powered by renewable sources. Renewables are those forms of energy coming from energy sources that can regenerate (such as wind or water energy), or that will not be exhausted within a scale of human times (such as solar power or geothermal energy). Most important thing, their use does not affect natural resources for future generations.

• 100% of our packaging comes from over 90% recycled materials;
• Abandon of the use of foam in our packaging by end 2021;
• Use of biodegradable wraps for packing;
• Use of paper tape;
• Paper glasses for coffee and water;
• Reusable water bottles.

The CO2 emissions of our office and warehouse areas are equal to zero, and we have already taken measures in order to have zero emissions also in our production department starting from January 2022. Moreover, we are arranging stringent procedures for the 100% recycle of the waste materials within the end of 2022.

In all our offices we have installed 100% LED lighting, which are capable of creating a safe and well lit ambience, while allowing energy savings. The air recirculation and purification system installed in our offices allows a safe breathing condition and is fed with zero emission green energy sources. The lighting system of our exterior building, parking and gardens is also 100% LED.
