This asymmetric structure was meant to draw the attention of the many football supporters and city visitors at night through a seamless illumination that could enhance, in either white or coloured light, its sinuous contours with a brilliant, intense light. According to dedicated lighting calculations, 46 units of Capital 300 with either medium or wide optic in RGB+W 4000K colour configuration, were required to deliver the desired illumination level to the whole structure. The CAPITALs 300 were fixed in groups onto metal supports installed on the ground around this giant O, to light it up with the same intensity from every point of view. Owing to the proximity to the sea, the fixtures were fitted with an additional anti-saline treatment, a specific corrosion resistant coating for product installation in coastal environment which protects the fixtures prolonging their lifetime. The whole system is managed via a professional DMX control system ideal for medium to large-sized projects, which operates as an interface for the user allowing easy access and control over all available functions.
