Hosting this inaugural event, the Palazzina Appiani was the perfect setting to showcase this product launch in the best possible way. On this occasion, some units of GEA in RGBW colour configuration cast a pink glow on the central area of the building's façade, symbolizing the official brand colour of APRITIMODA 2023 and its passion for Made in Italy creativity. Additional units of GEA in 3000K warm white lit up the sides of the palace frontispiece, located in the largest park in the center of Milan, making it a true jewel. Despite the temporary installation of the uplighters, and the impossibility of using a proper in-ground positioning, the final result showcases the full potential of this unique recessed luminaire. Both coloured and white light effects resulted perfectly homogeneous, enhancing in a very natural way the architectural details of the building’s façade.

Conceived and engineered according to the specifications of the world-renowned lighting designer Francesca Storaro, GEA features an unprecedented combination of tree different bespoke optics allocated in the same chassis to deliver an even wall wash effect on both close-up and distant installations. Three individually manageable optics rows ensure a surprisingly uniform coverage of a vertical space from ground level up to approximately 18 metres.
